My Theodosia - Seton Anya - 1965

539 pages. Minor edgewear to covers. Lightly tanned pages. Anya Seton's bestselling first novel, originally published in 1941, captures all the drama of the short life of Theodosia Burr (1783-1813). Theodosia is the daughter of Aaron Burr, Vice President of the United States serving under Thomas Jefferson. She is unwaveringly devoted to her father and he worships her. But his arrogant ambitions force her to choose between the man he insists she marry and the young soldier she truly loves. These same ambitions set in motion a chain of events that will end in treason and tragedy. Based on Anya Seton's meticulous research, My Theodosia is a compelling romance set against an historical background of the early years of the United States. Quantity Available: 1.
