brumby australia Page 3

The Brumby is Australia's wild horse, roaming free across various outback regions and famously known for its rugged survival skills. These feral horses are descendants of escaped or released domestic horses, and their population management is a hot-button issue involving environmentalists, farmers, and animal lovers alike. Brumbies stand roughly 14 to 15 hands high and come in a variety of colors, often resembling stock horses. If you're thinking of owning one, prices vary widely depending on age and training, but expect anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 AUD for a tamed specimen. For the wild ones, consider checking listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom for captures or rehoming options.
