buy ram Page 7

Thinking about buying RAM? Not the fluffy kind, but the computer memory. In Australia, you can expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $300 AUD depending on capacity and speed. New RAM sticks are plentiful on sites like Tradingpost and CarShowroom (if they ever decide to list tech). Used RAM might pop up on PuppyList, but beware of dodgy sellers—memory doesn’t age well, and defects can cause headaches.

Key specs to watch for include DDR generation (DDR4 or DDR5), capacity (8GB, 16GB, etc.), and speed (measured in MHz). Always check compatibility with your motherboard before splurging. For official specs and compatibility, consult your device manufacturer’s documentation.
