can a green p plater supervise a learner

Right, so you're wondering if a green P-plater can supervise a learner driver. In Australia, the green P-plate driver is in that awkward middle ground—more experienced than a learner but not quite a full licence holder. Officially, a green P-plater cannot supervise a learner driver. The supervisor must hold an unrestricted full licence, as the rules demand someone with enough street cred (and legal authority) to keep the learner out of trouble.

So no green P-plater backseat driving sessions—stick to the adults with the big-boy licences. For more nitty-gritty, check your local state road authority or ServiceCentral for official rules.
