Short answer: yes, but only if your NSW RSA is the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB021, or older SITHFAB002/SITHFAB201)—the NSW competency card by itself won’t fly in Queensland.
QLD employers need to sight your certificate from an RTO, and once you’ve got it, RSA in QLD doesn’t expire (unlike the NSW card’s five-year dance).
If you only have the NSW card, do the nationally accredited unit—often online—then keep the certificate handy for the boss and the clipboard brigade.
In short: bring the paperwork, pour responsibly, and everyone’s happy—especially the licensing folks and your future self.
