Short answer: yes—if, and only if, that third-row position has an approved child-restraint anchorage (top tether) and, where applicable, ISOFIX lower anchors certified for that seat. In Australia, most restraints must use a top tether; lots of seven-seaters simply don’t fit them in the back-back, so no anchor means no legal install, no arguments. Even where anchors exist, check the owner’s manual and the ADR label on the restraint, as some third rows aren’t rated for rear-facing capsules or certain boosters. Also make sure you can still access and fold the second row without turning school drop-off into a gymnastics final—then get a professional fitment check to be sure.
