Car 97 at the 2023 Bathurst 1000 was the Red Bull Ampol Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by Shane van Gisbergen and Richie Stanaway.

They won the race, muscling the new Gen3 Camaro around Mount Panorama with the sort of composure that makes the rest of us check our mirrors for talent.

Strong stint pace, sharp pit work, and cool heads in safety-car shuffles did the heavy lifting, while tyre management kept the Chevy happier than a roo in long grass.

If you were cheering for the Ford mob, sorry—on the day, #97 simply had the legs.
