car brand liberty

Liberty isn’t a car brand at all; it’s the Australian name for the Subaru Legacy.

So if you’re chasing a “Liberty,” you’re talking Subaru—mid-size sedan or wagon, sold here from the late ’80s up to 2020.

Most came with Subaru’s trademark symmetrical AWD, with 2.5‑litre fours common and a punchier 3.6‑litre six in later years.

Think comfy, safe, and quietly dependable rather than tyre-smoke theatrics.

If you’re shopping, search for “Subaru Liberty” on Tradingpost and you’ll be in the right paddock.
