Motorhomes for Sale - Page 2

Browse motorhomes for sale on Tradingpost, listed by private owners and licensed caravan dealers.

A motorhome or campervan is a vehicle before it is a home, so start with the running gear: odometer reading, service history, the age of the tyres and the state of the house battery. Confirm the licence you need as well, because anything over 4.5 tonnes GVM calls for a light rigid licence in most states. Then work through the fit-out. Work out how many berths you need, whether it is fully self contained with a shower, toilet and grey water tank, and how much fresh water, solar and battery it carries if you plan to camp off grid.

Filter by state, town and distance to keep an inspection close to home, or search nationally. Plenty of buyers fly in and drive one home from interstate once the numbers stack up.

The other way to go: campervans, bus conversions, 5th wheelers, touring caravans and off-road caravans. Or see every caravan and camper listed.

Every listing carries photos, an asking price, the seller location and a way to get in touch, so you can shortlist, arrange an inspection and negotiate direct. On anything second hand, confirm the registration and its expiry before money changes hands, run a check for finance owing against the vehicle, and ask to see a current gas compliance certificate for the cooktop and hot water service.

Also in the caravans department: the Motor Homes category, mobile homes, relocatables and caravan parts and accessories. Selling instead? Create a listing, set out the tare, the ATM and what has been done to it, and reach buyers who are ready to tow one home.
