CarHistory.com.au is the “tell me everything” report: PPSR (finance/write‑off/stolen), odometer readings, past sale listings, rego status, and even valuation sprinkles for good measure.

It costs more than a bare PPSR check—think roughly $30–$40 versus a few bucks for the government certificate—but you’re paying for the extra breadcrumbs that can expose a tarted‑up lemon.

Strengths: one-stop bundle, easy to read, handy for interstate buys; Weak spots: price per report, and it’s only as good as the databases feeding it.

If you’re serious about a used car, grab one of these plus an independent inspection; if you’re tyre-kicking, the cheap PPSR alone may do, but don’t come crying when “just needs a service” turns into a gearbox rebuild.
