This incredible 1966 XP Fairmont JG34 was Engineered and Built by Gregg Foss. This ground breaking Red Centre Nationals 2016 Grand Champion elite show car is being offered for sale for the first time exclusively by . This beautiful vehicle is Fully Engineered and Road Registered in the Northern Territory. It has only 270 Miles on the clock since its complete no expense spared rebuild. The FOSS Fairmont was awarded a string of awards at the Red Centre Nationals: Top 10 Elite 2016/2017.Top Interior 2016/2017. Top Engineered 2016. Top Sedan 2016. The vehicle is powered by a Supercharged Lexus 1UZFE 4.0 litre 32 Valve V8 with 400 hp. 14.9 ¼ Mile Top speed 160 miles per hour. The Automatic Transmission is an Asian A340E (Fully Electronic) with 3 programs: Power, Economy, Manual Shift and a Fully Functioning Lock up Converter. An Autronic Computer controls the whole system (Engine and Automatic). The front suspension is VP Commodore with new Bilstein Macpherson front struts. The rear end has King coil springs and rear shocks. Steering is by Rack and Pinion. K frame. 7 link rear end with Borg Warner differential having 28 spline steel billet axles and a Kaas limited slip centre (Ratio 3.7:1). The fully collapsible steering column is VP Commodore (Plastic safety pin is still in its original position and unbroken). The Kumho 215/45R16 Semi Slicks hold it on road. The front guard and rear wheel arch lips have not been rolled. The brake rotors are dimpled and slotted. The double diaphragm power booster and tandem master cylinder with dual braking system ensures the car stops really well. The Full Leather Custom Interior is completed in leather used by the Rolls Royce Supplier and is unblemished. The features of this outstanding interior are front bucket seats with the rear seats modified into a bench bucket and the seating positions have been moved closer together to reduce car sickness. The amazing restyled cabin has four seating positions and all seat belts are lap/sash and fully retractable. The 1 piece roof lining and unique full length centre console are a design master stroke. The entire floor and boot surfaces are insulated from heat and sound by Dynamat insulation. The exhaust system is fully coated with Ceramic including the purpose built custom extractors. The aluminium fuel tank holds 70 Litres and the average fuel consumption of the Foss Fairmont is 10.5 Litres per 100 Kilometres.
