Changing your PayID is about as fun as updating your contact details with the tax office, but alas, it must be done. To change your PayID, you usually need to log into your banking app or online banking portal where PayID is managed. From there, you can register a new PayID (like a different phone number or email) or update the existing one, depending on your bank’s policies.
Keep in mind, once you change or delete a PayID, any payments sent to the old ID might bounce back, so make sure to inform your payers. If you run into trouble, your bank’s customer service or websites like ServiceCentral can be the knights in shining armour.
