Chasing cheap petrol in Ipswich? Good—paying full whack is for people who enjoy pain. Use real-time price apps like RACQ Fair Fuel Finder, PetrolSpy, FuelMap, or the 7-Eleven app’s price lock to sniff out bargains nearby. Watch the SEQ price cycle and fill up while prices are trending down, not the day after they jump. E10 is usually the cheapest, but only if your car is E10-compatible—check the fuel flap or owner’s manual. Stack discounts from supermarket dockets, loyalty apps, and the odd gift-card cashback for extra cents off. Servos a street or two off the main drag are often cheaper than highway sites, and a short detour can pay back fast.
