cheapest brand new car 2023 Page 3

In Australia during 2023, the cheapest brand-new car crown typically sat with the MG 3, with the Kia Picanto often nipping at its bargain-priced heels. Expect new-car drive-away deals to hover roughly in the high teens to low twenties (AUD), depending on state, dealer specials and whether you fancy a manual Picanto or not. Used examples of these pint-sized city cars (1–3 years old) generally landed around AUD $12,000–$17,000, with mileage, condition and service history calling the shots. They’re cheap to run and park, though you’ll sacrifice some refinement and fancy safety tech compared with pricier newcomers.
