cheapest car in perth Page 119

Looking for the cheapest car in Perth? Brace yourself for a parade of tiny hatchbacks and crusty old sedans. New cars that won’t make your wallet scream usually start around $15,000 AUD for base models like the Suzuki Celerio or Mitsubishi Mirage. If you’re happy to flirt with secondhand wheels, Tradingpost and CarShowroom list cars going for as little as $3,000-$5,000 AUD, but expect some quirks and a few stories best left untold.

Be sure to factor in ongoing costs like insurance, registration, and the inevitable repairs. Remember, cheap isn’t always cheerful—sometimes it’s just cheap.
