Need to check land value in QLD? Use the Queensland Government Valuer‑General’s online search to find the current statutory “site value” for your lot. You’ll also see it on your council rates notice, and you can view past valuations to see how the numbers have crept up (or heroically refused to). If your area wasn’t revalued this cycle, the last issued value still stands until the next annual notice. For market value—what buyers actually pay—compare recent sales of similar land nearby or grab a proper report from a valuer. If it looks wildly off, you can lodge an objection within the stated window on your notice. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
