check tyre pressure honda crv Page 4

Checking tyre pressure on a Honda CR‑V is simple, and your tyres will thank you. Find the placard on the driver’s door jamb or in the owner’s manual—those are the only numbers that matter, not what your mate swears by.

Check pressures “cold” (car rested, out of the sun), use a decent gauge, and inflate to the placard value—typically around 220–250 kPa (32–36 psi) depending on model and tyre size. Don’t forget the spare, and if you’re hauling kids, dogs, or a trailer full of Bunnings dreams, aim for the upper end. After adjusting, drive a few minutes and confirm the TPMS light stays off; if it lingers, recheck and reset per the manual. Recheck monthly and before long trips, because under‑inflation eats fuel and edges tyres faster than a roundabout chews hubcaps.
