cloned number plates victoria Page 2

Cloned number plates in Victoria are a cheeky bit of motorist mischief where criminals slap on identical plates from another vehicle to dodge fines, tolls, or even hide from the coppers. It's a right royal pain for innocent drivers who end up with fines for offences they never committed. If you suspect your plates have been cloned, report it immediately to VicRoads and the police.

Here are common issues:

• Unexplained fines or toll notices
• Vehicle registration warnings
• Possible involvement in crimes you never committed

For more info or to verify your plates, check official VicRoads resources or ServiceCentral. It's a game of cat and mouse, so keep your wits about you.
