collectable cars Page 8

Collectable cars are those rare beasts that make enthusiasts weak at the knees and banks a tad lighter. They range from vintage classics to limited-edition modern marvels, often boasting rarity, historical significance, and desirability. Prices can vary wildly: expect to pay anywhere from a modest few thousand AUD for a well-loved classic to eye-watering millions for legendary icons. Common issues with collectables include:

• Rust and corrosion due to age
• Parts scarcity
• High maintenance costs
• Potential for value volatility
