Ah, the noble art of colouring cars, or as the layperson might call it, painting your vehicle. It's not just slapping on some paint; it's about choosing the right type like acrylic urethane or enamel, prepping the surface meticulously, and applying multiple coats for that glossy finish. In Australia, expect a professional respray to set you back anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 AUD, depending on the quality and size of your motor. DIY kits are cheaper but often yield results suitable only for the brave or the hopelessly optimistic. Remember, a good paint job can hide blemishes and boost resale value, but a botched one will haunt your dreams (and your wallet).
