configurations for mitsubishi outlander Page 8

In Australia, the Mitsubishi Outlander comes as a straightforward petrol or a clever PHEV, with seating for five or seven depending on variant—like a Swiss Army knife that joined the PTA.

The petrol runs a 2.5‑litre 4‑cylinder (approx. 135 kW/244 Nm) through a CVT in 2WD or AWD, across ES, LS, Aspire, Exceed and Exceed Tourer trims.

The Outlander PHEV pairs a 2.4‑litre engine + dual motors and a ~20 kWh battery for roughly 80+ km EV range, with AWD standard and typically five seats.

Cabins scale from hardy family‑spec to leather‑trim luxe, with a full spread of driver aids and big‑screen infotainment to keep the peace.

Key choices boil down to petrol (5/7 seats, FWD/AWD) vs PHEV (5 seats, AWD), and how fancy you want the toys.
