The Toyota Yaris in Australia typically comes in a handful of trims, including the Ascent Sport and the ZR, each offering a slightly different flavour of practicality and tech. Expect a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine churning out around 88 kW and 140 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic or a 6-speed manual in some variants. The ZR trim ups the ante with extras like 16-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and advanced safety features. For those wanting a bit of a green footprint, there's also a hybrid version boasting better fuel efficiency. Prices for new models start around AUD 20,000 and can creep up to AUD 27,000 depending on the bells and whistles. For used models, check out CarShowroom or Tradingpost to spot some bargains.

Always refer to Toyota's official documentation for the precise specs and options, as they can shuffle trims and features with a mischievous wink.
