Assuming you meant the BMW i8, not some futuristic Intel processor mashup, the BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid sports car that screams eco-warrior meets speed demon. It boasts a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of around 369 horsepower. Zero to 100 km/h comes up in about 4.4 seconds, which is decent enough to shame many supercars. New, you're looking at a wallet-busting price north of $250,000 AUD, but used ones can be found around $100,000 to $150,000 AUD on CarShowroom or Tradingpost. The i8 is as much about style and tech as it is about performance, but its limited electric-only range and pricey upkeep are worth a ponder. Check official BMW documentation for the full specs and maintenance quirks.
