dandenong drive in closing Page 2

The Dandenong Drive-In, a beloved relic of Australian car culture, closed its gates for good in 2021. After decades of screening B-movies and cult classics under the stars, the site was earmarked for redevelopment, much to the chagrin of nostalgia buffs. The closure marks the end of an era where you could enjoy a flick from the comfort of your own car without dodging sticky floors and overpriced popcorn inside a multiplex. For those grieving, keep an eye on local listings like Tradingpost or CarShowroom for any memorabilia or related events celebrating the drive-in spirit.
