difference between 90 and 95 series prado

The 90 and 95 aren’t different generations; they’re two body styles of the same J90-series Prado. Think of the 90 as the short‑wheelbase three‑door and the 95 as the long‑wheelbase five‑door family hauler.

• Pros: lighter and nimbler off‑road, slightly better approach/departure angles
• Cons: cramped rear access and cargo, fewer seats

• Pros: easier access with five doors, more seats and boot space, more stable on highway trips
• Cons: heavier and longer, a touch less agile off‑road

Both share the same core engines and running gear, so capability and towing are broadly similar—choose by space and practicality versus agility. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
