Short answer: no — PayPal in Australia doesn’t use PayID for sending or receiving money.

It runs on its own rails tied to your email or mobile, and withdrawals go to your bank via standard BSB/account details, not a PayID.

You can still do instant transfers to eligible cards and regular bank withdrawals, just not via the NPP/PayID scheme.

If you want PayID, use your bank app; if you want PayPal, well, you know where the giant blue button lives.
