drivers licence wa test Page 24

Chasing a WA driver’s licence? First you sit the Computerised Theory Test to snag your Learner’s Permit, then rack up supervised hours (typically 50, with some at night).

Next comes the Hazard Perception Test—less “arcade game,” more “don’t tailgate that ute, champ.”

When you’re ready, book the Practical Driving Assessment with the WA Department of Transport and show smooth observation, speed control, and safe gap selection.

Bring the right ID, a roadworthy car, and nerves of steel; leave the phone in the glovebox.

Pass that lot and you’ll graduate to provisional driving with restrictions—freedom with training wheels.
