dutton one melbourne reviews Page 140

Ah, the Dutton One, Melbourne edition. Think of it as a love letter to classic car enthusiasts with a penchant for modern reliability. This beauty is essentially a painstakingly crafted replica of the iconic Jaguar E-Type, but with contemporary performance and materials. Under the hood, expect a robust 3.0-litre inline-six engine, paired with modern suspension and brakes that actually allow you to stop on a dime—unlike the originals. Prices tend to hover around the $150,000 to $200,000 mark, depending on customisation, with used models occasionally popping up on Tradingpost or CarShowroom.

Owners praise its head-turning looks and the sheer joy of driving a classic with none of the usual headaches. However, some grumble about the niche appeal and the premium price tag. Bottom line: if you’re after nostalgia with a dash of 21st-century tech, Dutton One is your quirky little gem. For detailed reviews, check out owner forums and specialty sites.
