Ah, the electrifying state of electric vehicles in Australia – a land where the sun shines bright but the uptake of EVs has been, shall we say, a little dim. Australia has seen a steady increase in electric vehicle options, with offerings from Tesla, Hyundai, and MG making waves. Key specs often include range between 300-500 km and charging times from 30 minutes (fast charge) to several hours (home charging).

New EVs typically start around $45,000 AUD for entry-level models and can soar well beyond $100,000 for premium options. Used EVs are available but still a niche market, often priced between $25,000-$60,000 AUD, depending on age and battery health. Incentives vary by state, so check local offers before you commit to that silent spaceship.
