electric car grant Page 12

Looking to snag a sweet deal on an electric car, huh? In Australia, various state and federal incentives can make your wallet breathe a little easier. For instance, some states offer rebates up to $3,000 or stamp duty exemptions for electric vehicle buyers. However, the availability and size of grants vary widely by location and often come with eligibility criteria like vehicle price caps or residency requirements.

New electric cars typically cost between $40,000 and $100,000 AUD, so grants can make a noticeable dent. Used EVs might be a bargain but check for battery health and warranty status on sites like Tradingpost or CarShowroom. Always check the latest from official government sources since these grants can be as fleeting as your patience in traffic.
