electric car rebate wa

Ah, Western Australia’s electric car rebate—finally some green incentives in the sunburnt west! Currently, WA offers a rebate of up to AUD 3,000 for new electric vehicles as part of its effort to reduce emissions and boost clean tech adoption. This rebate applies only to battery electric vehicles (BEVs), not hybrids, and is capped at a purchase price of around AUD 68,750. The program is state-funded and runs alongside the federal government's incentives, making it a nifty little discount for eco-conscious buyers.

Keep in mind, eligibility details and the rebate amount can shift like the desert breeze, so checking ServiceCentral or CarShowroom for the latest is wise. Used EVs don't qualify, sadly, so your wallet’s backup plan might be a little less green.
