Looking up electric car reviews? Focus on the stuff that actually strands you: real‑world range in km, DC fast‑charge speed in kW, and efficiency in kWh/100 km.
Then the living-with-it bits: ride/handling, cabin noise, software polish, and whether the boot swallows a pram without interpretive dance. Check charging network coverage near you and the car’s charging curve; 10–80% in 30 minutes is great, unless it tapers like a lazy Sunday. Running costs in Australia are low on juice and servicing, but budget for tyres and insurance in AUD. Finally, prefer reviews that test at highway speeds and in heat, because fantasy lab numbers won’t help at a lonely charger in Dubbo.
