electric price australia Page 8

Ah, the elusive "electric price" in Australia—let's talk EV costs, shall we? New electric vehicles typically start around $50,000 AUD for entry-level models like the MG ZS EV, soaring to well over $150,000 AUD for luxury beasts like the Tesla Model X or Porsche Taycan. Used EVs can be found from about $30,000 AUD, depending on age, range, and condition—check Tradingpost and CarShowroom for some tantalising options. Don't forget the running costs: charging is cheaper than petrol, but installation of home chargers can add a few grand upfront. Government incentives vary by state, so keep your eyes peeled for juicy rebates. In sum, electric prices are a moving feast, but expect a premium over your average petrol guzzler.
