Victoria has been keen on pushing electric vehicles harder than a kangaroo on a trampoline. The state government offers a range of incentives including rebates on new EV purchases, stamp duty exemptions, and subsidies for installing home charging stations. For instance, the Victorian Electric Vehicle Rebate can knock up to $3,000 AUD off your new EV's price if it meets the criteria. There's also support for businesses looking to electrify their fleets and incentives around expanding charging infrastructure.

These incentives aim to make EVs as attractive as a meat pie at a footy match, but keep an eye on official channels for the latest updates because the rules can change faster than traffic on the M1. For the latest and greatest, check out the Victorian government’s dedicated EV programs or browse listings on Tradingpost and CarShowroom to see how these incentives translate into real savings.
