expired rego vic

Driving around with expired registration in Victoria is a splendid way to attract a hefty fine and some very unfriendly attention from the cops. If your rego has expired, you’re technically driving illegally — and that fine can be north of $800. The best course of action is to renew it ASAP through VicRoads or online. Remember, you can’t get a roadworthy certificate if your car’s unregistered, so no fancy road trips until you’re squared away.

Should you get caught, expect penalties including fines and potential vehicle impoundment. For more info or renewal services, check out ServiceCentral or VicRoads directly.
