f1 alpine drivers 2023

In 2023, Alpine’s Formula 1 seats were occupied by the all-French duo of Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly.

Ocon nicked a superb podium in Monaco, while Gasly bagged one at Zandvoort—proof the blue cars could occasionally punch above their weight when the stars aligned and the weather misbehaved.

They replaced the Alonso/Piastri soap opera with a more Gallic flavour, complete with elbows-out racing and a sprinkling of intra-team spice.

So if you spotted a feisty midfield Alpine in 2023, odds are it was one of those two making life difficult for their neighbours.
