female race car drivers australia

Australia’s racing scene has plenty of fast women making the blokes look nervous on grid walks. Notables include Molly Taylor (2016 Australian Rally Champion), Leanne Tander (Australian Formula Ford champion), and Simona de Silvestro, who raced full-time in Supercars from 2017–2019. You’ll also spot Chelsea Angelo in TCR Australia and Super2, Emily Duggan breaking ground in the V8 Touring Car Series, and Renee Gracie, who raced Super2 and co-drove at the Bathurst 1000. Pathways typically start in karts, then step to Formula Ford, TCR, Super2/Supercars or rally — same hustle, just different helmets. If you’re chasing race gear or a project car, Tradingpost often has the bits to get you on the grid, minus the ego and plus a bargain.
