ford falcon types

Wondering about Ford Falcon types? Think of it as a buffet of body styles and engines built for Aussie life.

Body-wise you had the staple sedan, work-and-family-friendly wagon (until the late 2000s), and the no-nonsense ute. Engines ranged from the iconic 4.0‑litre inline-six (including the punchy XR6 Turbo) to various V8s (5.0/5.4, and later a supercharged 5.0 in FPV). Trims ran from practical XT/Futura/G6 to plush Ghia/G6E, with XR6, XR6 Turbo, and XR8 doing the mischief. All rear-wheel drive, manual or auto depending on era, and built to haul kids, tools, or ego with equal enthusiasm. Pick the body to suit your life, then choose: silky six or thumping eight.
