ford ranger payload capacity kg Page 44

Ford Ranger payload varies by variant, tray/cab, engine, and 4x2 vs 4x4, so there isn’t one magic number.

Non‑Raptor models typically carry around 950–1,100 kg in popular dual‑cab trims, with cab‑chassis and 4x2 XL setups stretching to about 1,200–1,300 kg. The Ranger Raptor is tuned for go‑fast sand flinging, not bricks, so payload is much lower at roughly 650–700 kg. Remember aftermarket trays, bullbars and canopies chew into payload because they increase kerb mass. If you’re towing, account for ball weight, passengers and gear—GVM and GCM limits still apply. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
