free ev charging victoria

Ah, the dream of free electric vehicle charging in Victoria—it's like stumbling upon a unicorn grazing in a eucalyptus forest. While there are a handful of public EV chargers scattered around, truly free charging spots are rarer than a sunny day in Melbourne's winter. Most charging stations operated by councils or private businesses often require a subscription or pay-per-use, with prices varying but generally modest.

Keep an eye on local council initiatives and some shopping centres, as occasional promotions might offer free top-ups. For regular EV charging, investing in a home charger or using networks like Chargefox or Evie Networks might be more reliable, though not free. Check Tradingpost or CarShowroom forums for the latest on freebies or discounted rates.
