games to play on a road trip Page 2

Ah, the classic road trip dilemma: how to stop the car from turning into a mobile torture chamber. Fear not! Here are some time-tested games to keep the passengers entertained and just slightly less grumpy:

• 20 Questions: Guess the object, person, or place with only twenty yes/no questions. Bonus: it’s a great way to learn how annoying your siblings can be.
• Licence Plate Bingo: Spot license plates from different states or territories. Points for creativity and sheer desperation.
• Would You Rather: Present impossible choices and judge your friends’ terrible decisions.
• Song Association: Someone says a word, and you have to sing a song with that word in it. Off-key performances encouraged.

These games require no gear, just patience and a sense of humour. For more ideas or to buy travel games, check out Tradingpost or CarShowroom for in-car entertainment options.
