go pro 11 review

The GoPro Hero 11 Black is the pocket riot that turns your weekend into cinema, whether you meant to or not.

You get 5.3K/60, 4K/120, a new 27MP sensor with an 8:7 aspect for easy vertical crops, 10-bit colour, HyperSmooth 5.0 and full 360° horizon lock, plus the Enduro battery that finally handles Aussie summer without having a lie-down.

Low light is still “meh”, audio is fine-not-fabulous, and the menus can feel like you’re defusing a bomb with mittens—but the footage is gloriously stable and sharp.

There’s also a dinky Hero 11 Mini if you prefer fewer buttons to press and fewer excuses.

In Australia, new units typically run around AUD $549–699, while used examples land roughly between AUD $350–500 depending on condition and accessories.

Key specs: 5.3K/60, 4K/120, 27MP stills, 10-bit, HyperSmooth 5.0, 360° horizon lock. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
