goodyear fortera 235/55r18 review Page 2

The Goodyear Fortera in 235/55R18 is a comfy, road-biased SUV tyre that prefers bitumen to bush tracks. It serves up low noise and a relaxed ride, with decent dry grip and predictable steering—perfect for school runs and the odd highway dash. Wet braking is competent but not class-leading next to premium touring rivals, and light off-road cuts and chips can ruffle its sidewalls. Tread life is generally solid if you rotate on schedule and keep pressures honest, otherwise it will sulk and wear the shoulders. If you want quiet comfort and everyday manners, it’s a safe bet; if you’re chasing sharp sportiness or muddy heroics, look elsewhere.
