graphene battery australia Page 21

Everyone’s buzzing about graphene batteries, but in Australia they’re mostly a promise with a brochure: you’ll see graphene‑enhanced lithium‑ion cells, not pure graphene packs. They promise faster charging, cooler temps, and longer life, but for now plain old Li‑ion and LiFePO4 still rule EVs and home storage.

You can buy niche gadgets and e‑bike packs that drop the G‑word, yet mainstream EVs sold here don’t ship with true graphene batteries. If someone’s flogging miracle numbers, ask for independent cycle‑life data, charge rate in C, and the warranty fine print. For near‑term buying, pick a reputable LiFePO4 or NMC system and make sure your charger/BMS can get firmware updates. In short: promising tech, but not your daily driver’s power source—yet.
