gt cut 3 review Page 11

The GT Cut 3, a bit of a head-scratcher name, is actually a sporty, compact hatch that tries to punch above its weight in the fiercely competitive Aussie market. It boasts a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine delivering around 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque, which is decent for zipping around urban jungles. Inside, it’s a mixed bag: decent tech with an 8-inch touchscreen but materials feel a tad plasticky—a reminder it’s not a premium ride. Fuel economy hovers around a respectable 6.5 L/100km. However, rivals offer sharper handling and more refined interiors. For a new one, expect to cough up roughly $25,000 to $28,000 AUD, while used models drop to about $15,000 to $20,000 AUD.
