Your GWM Cannon key fob isn’t dead, just melodramatic. Slide out the mechanical key, gently pry the seam with a small flat screwdriver, and swap the coin cell (most use a CR2032, but check the case/manual) with the + side facing up. Snap it back together, reinsert the blade, then test lock/unlock right next to the ute; if it’s still sulking, hold the fob near the start button or try a brief lock–unlock cycle to re-sync. If the buttons feel mushy or intermittent, clean the contacts and check the vehicle’s fuses and brake-pedal switch, as a bad switch kills cruise and keyless moods alike. Dispose of the old battery properly and keep the new one away from kids—tiny, shiny, and absolutely not snacks.
