haunted road

Ah, the infamous "haunted road"—a phrase that sends thrill-seekers and sceptics alike hunting for ghostly encounters and mysterious happenings. In Australia, roads like the Monte Cristo Homestead Road in New South Wales or the Old Goulburn Road have earned their spooky reputations. These tales typically involve eerie sounds, sudden cold spots, and apparitions that make even the bravest souls think twice before a midnight drive.

Of course, the only thing truly haunted might be the overactive imaginations fueled by campfire stories and urban legends. If you're after a spine-tingling experience, these roads deliver on atmosphere but not necessarily on supernatural authenticity. For those less inclined to encounter phantoms, stick to Tradingpost or CarShowroom for more down-to-earth pursuits.
