holden colorado seats uncomfortable Page 3

The Holden Colorado can tow like a champion, but its seats? Many owners find them firm and a bit flat on long hauls.

If your backside is staging a protest, try these fixes before you trade the ute for a sofa:

• Add a quality lumbar cushion or gel pad, and set seat height/tilt to open your hip angle; small tweaks can make a big difference.
• Check tyre pressures and suspension condition—overinflated tyres or tired dampers transmit more jiggle than a jelly at a kid’s party.
• Fit ADR-compliant aftermarket seats or bases (via a reputable trimmer) if you need real support; make sure airbags/seat sensors remain properly integrated.
• Consider seat-rail extenders or risers (engineer-approved) to improve leg support, especially for taller drivers.

The 10-minute test drive never tells the full story—do a long sit before buying upgrades, and keep receipts for warranty/insurance peace of mind.
