holden commodore service schedule Page 13

For most Holden Commodores, plan on servicing every 15,000 km or 12 months; older models often used 10,000 km or shorter intervals, especially if driven hard.

At each visit: engine oil and filter; inspect brakes, belts, and bushes; rotate tyres; and check fluids. Typically, brake fluid every 2 years, coolant about 4–5 years, spark plugs around 60–100k km (varies by engine), and consider auto transmission fluid/filter at 60–80k km if you tow or slog through traffic.

No timing belts here—most Commodore engines use chains—but some V6s are known for timing chain stretch if oil changes are skipped, so don’t. Always follow the specific logbook for your VIN; the factory schedule wins every argument.
