In Australia, recent Honda CR-V models typically use a 1.5-litre turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre e:HEV hybrid, depending on the grade and year. If you’re shopping used, earlier generations commonly ran a 2.0-litre or 2.4-litre naturally aspirated petrol four. There’s no V6 lurking—just sensible fours doing their best impersonation of eager beavers. For everyday family duty, the 1.5T is the all-rounder; the hybrid sips like a budgie at a bird bath.
